Our parent company, Fylde Computer Solutions Ltd., offers server and desktop support as well as installation. We carry out Epson printer services and repairs to both in warranty and out of warranty printers.

L walked in and asked about changing my OS from one drive to another and the guy told me to get "MACRIUM REFLECT" after trying this my M.2 Drive decided to turn into a stick of ram because it dosent work anymore. I bought a brand new computer because of this so l want to say thanks to computers indirect for the help and make sure u take body armor when you go in to ask a question.

Poor service DISCLAIMER - I know very little about laptops in terms of specs, speed, ram etc. and am by no means an expert at all Anyway. I returned a laptop that didn't live up to its expectations despite it being brand new (apparently it was a fast and very responsive laptop and a touchscreen which I found out it wasn't) and phoned up and asked if I could get a refund, of which I was told "Yes, bring it in and we'll sort it out" When I returned to the shop and explained what happened to the manager and mentioned I was agreed a refund, the assistant who spoke to me on the phone denied saying that and added that he meant that they will sort the laptop out despite me actually asking for a refund over the phone to which his reply was "I meant we'll sort the laptop out" which is absolute rubbish because he specifically said "Yes bring it in and we'll sort it out" in response to my refund question When I was given the refund back on my card (on a Thursday), it didn't clear after 3 days (I had to wait over a weekend which I had no problem with whatsoever) and when I phoned up the following Wednesday and explained this, apparently there was a problem with the bank and when I looked at my refund receipt, it said "VOID" on there which I didn't first see (partly my bad for not checking) It took a further TWO days to get my refund in the end and wasn't even apologised to for the hassle or inconvenience of everything I would NOT recommend this place, nor would I shop here again

It's good to have shops like this on your local high street just a mile from where you live. My (old) Dell monitor recently developed a glitch so I called into Computers Direct (while I was parked outside the shop - another advantage) to explain my issue and ask for solutions. Simon, the owner, gave me impartial advice and showed me two alternative monitors from which I chose the one closet in size to my faulty monitor.
There was no hard sell and the price seemed so good that I bought it immediately without pursuing a repair option to my faulty one. The premises were Covid compliant and Simon was very courteous and seemed very knowledgeable so I am surprised at some of the comments which I've read below, especially when you consider his reasoned responses. My interaction with Computers Direct was mainly retail rather than repair but it was clear to me that there was a high degree of technical competence and I would have no hesitation in returning for any kind of technical service.
I'll finish by saying that when I checked the online price of the LG monitor I purchased, it was very competitive being close to the bottom end of the range I found from other retailers who offered the identical product

Very unhelpful and way overpriced, wanted to take my laptop away overnight and charge me a "standard" 40 just to look at it! and extra for diagnosis and fixing! (I'm reliant on my laptop for work) I knew the problem was a simple one which could have been sorted there and then within minutes but I was told they weren't able to open the laptop up in the shop due to covid (so where do you fix them?) Took it to another local computer repair shop who diagnosed the issue and rectified it within minutes at the cost of 10! Major difference! This isn't doing your business any favours especially in these difficult times.

I really cannot speak highly enough about the abilities and professionalism of the people in this company. It is some years now since they built me a PC, which was tailored to my needs and was infinitely better than any prepackaged machine I could buy from retailers or on line. I have upgraded over the years and every time their service has been second to none. If you want to deal with a company that epitomises the best of the best then pick this one.

Dropped my laptop off around 9.30am and it was repaired and ready before 4pm. Knowledgeable staff and very friendly. They even cloned my hard drive onto my new one so no lengthy set up when I got home and was very happy with the charge. I would highly recommend the company. Thanks for a great service.
