I needed some screws for internal HDD fixing to Raid setup. (was really hard to find elsewhere) Popped into local shop and they kindly gave me some screws and rubber shock-proofing, saved a lot of hassle. Much appreciated

3. I have now bought a new computer through Computer Assistance. I knew that they would know what would be best for me and my business as they have been sorting out tech problems for me over the years. They researched what they thought would be best, and then talked the options through with me. So much better than going into a shop and buying 'blind' from someone who does not know you.

As always, I am delighted with the result. 2. I went again with another problem and they dealt with it quickly and at a very reasonable price. They are so reliable. 1. I can always rely on Computer Assistance to sort out any tech problems, however complicated. They not only sort them out but also explain clearly what the problems were. This time it proved to be a more complicated problem, but they just went on until it was sorted. A great bunch of people with great IT skills and a friendly environment. I've been using them for years.

Problems with devices can seem like nightmares to us ordinary folk. Put these problems in the hands of this team and they are magically solved - quickly, efficiently, reassuringly. With their Gold priority service they had my laptop from 3pm one day and it was returned with new SSD and battery at 11am the next day; everything worked perfectly. They are a great bunch of skilled and competent people (and thank you, Jimi!)

I just used Computer Assistance for the second time and found their staff just as friendly and highly competent as when they fixed my old computer. This time it was truly dead but they transferred all my drives to a new desktop and went to so much trouble with the drive letters - which I always get in a muddle over - that I can't see any difference between this and the old computer (except that this one's much faster).

The degree of personal service is exceptional in my experience. The guy doing the repair actually called my mobile with regular progress reports or when there were any questions about how I wanted the new computer set up. And at the risk of sounding like a commercial, the VIP service came at a very reasonable price too. I really can't recommend these guys highly enough. Thanks CA!

I have known Computer Assistance for years, and this time they delivered too. My laptop screen needed replacement and they completed this within 24 hours and to high quality. The best thing is that these guys always pick up the phone, keep you informed about the repair progress, and they are kind and honest. We are lucky to have them in Oxford.

I presented two old laptops for updating and transmission of material into a new one I had ordered for them to obtain on my behalf. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. I was tremendously relieved to get all my data back, because it had cost a lot to digitize the original documents from more than 100 locations.

They worked on my computer remotely and then explained how I could continue doing what they had been doing - transferring files from one drive to another to free up space. This was all most helpful and I appreciate them explaining to me how to do it myself. Computer Assistance always comes to the rescue successfully and always explains clearly what they do or have done. Also, I no longer have problems with Zoom. Yes, very satisfied. We turned to Computer Assistance after a year of IT problems in our new house during which several other ‘experts’ had tried unsuccessfully to sort things. Computer Assistance discussed our problems in advance of coming and came out quickly bringing with them all equipment that might be needed. They stayed until they had solved the problems. We were so delighted that we are now using them for other computer related issues and recommending them to friends.

Fast prompt service and reasonably priced. Was quoted nearly £100 for a diagnostic from a central Oxford company and paid only £23 here. Value for money!

They get the job done, and it's a good one too! They took a while as there was a lot to do, there communications were good, and people there friendly enough. will do more business if I need to in the future.

This place is excellent. I bought a fabulous reconditioned MacBook Air from them and it was superb value for money. Alas when I spilled a whole glass of water over it I took it back for repair. They were brilliant. I would recommend them to anyone for both support, and if you need a computer. Very friendly company too, a pleasure going in to the shop.

My old laptop was close to death, being advanced in years. I took it to Computer Assistance and asked them to put it out of its misery in a humane manner, but not before they transferred all pertinent information to a brand spanking new laptop which they would sell me. This work was done quickly and efficiently and I now have a new laptop with all the personalised features of my old laptop.

Jimi informed me that my Toshiba was beyond repair so he showed me this Acer Aspire 3 SSD computer. I hadn't intended to buy a new computer just yet but I am so pleased I did. Jimi has done a wonderful job of transferring the information from the Toshiba to this Acer that it is comparatively easy for me to use. I must say I am delighted with the service, care and consideration shown by all your colleagues, Jimi especially, and would like to thank him very much for all his help and kindness. Needless to say Florentina was her usual bubbly self and, I suppose, it was not such a wrench, having to pay about £550 overall for this Acer which, if it lasts as long as the Toshiba will pay for itself hands down. I have used Computer Assistance on a number of occasions and they have always been brilliant. Professional, efficient, knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, kind, and funny.
