We run an open workshop which means you can watch us do the repair on your system, you can be there for the entire repair if preferred. We do this to stay honest with customers, no hiding in a backroom for our techs!. we've been going for nearly 20 years now and built up a loyal customer base with this open and honest approach.We were subject to a "secret shopper" by Which! magazine who included and featured us in article they wrote about smaller repair companies V bigger retail stores, they considered us one of the best and we got our faces in the magazine.
We repair, upgrade and offer advice on anything computer and laptop related with our biggest sellers being Malware/virus removal and powerjack repairs on laptops.
We class ourselves as Tech Support, not sales and although we need to pay the bills, we honestly care more about helping people, than we do about money.

Open 10:00 till 17:00 Monday to Friday, closed weekends and bank holidays and possibly sunny days in summer (ring to enquire). Buses 19 & 19A stops at Natwest bank in St James Square, its then a 5-10 minute walk up Weedon rd towards Six Fields. Something to note about the Computer Repair Shop, we're not exactly salesmen & we'll never win the computer salesmen-of-the-year award, although a big enough trophy could prop the door open in summer. What does interest us though, is offering the good folk of Northampton a professional computer and laptop repair service that's all done inhouse.
When making contact or when describing your repair, please do mention if it's a computer, laptop or other device. The more details you give us, the better we can communicate with you. Typical reply to this: You have supplied the least amount of detail humanly possible, We're unsure how exactly to politely answer your request.
An open workshop means you can see what we are doing, when we are doing it. We won't take your machine into a back-room and keep your repair hidden, in fact, due to space restrictions, we couldn't! This openness was our goal from the beginning all those many, many sleepless nights ago, and from our perspective at least, it seems appreciated by all who enter.

Fantastic experience! Went in as my laptop didn't turn on and kept making a whining noise. All they had to do was disconnect and reconnect the fan and its back in working order! They didn't even charge me bless them! I'll be sending down a little food gift this Friday as a thank you since it means I can get back to finishing my university assignments! Fantastic service. Quick and efficient.

Fantastic service! I brought my laptop in to the shop without calling prior. The guys were happy to take a look and diagnose the fault there and then. Unfortunately my laptop had major damage so made more sense to replace rather than repair. Even though the team spent a good 20 mins+ of their time to diagnose the fault and explain it to me, the computer repair shop wouldn't accept payment for their time. Really great service from genuine people. Thanks again.

I'd had some issues with my PC shutting down. Thought it was dust build up. After cleaning the fans with compressed air, my PC was giving me no picture and kept switching off. I called the shop and was given sound advice over the phone. This gave me the confidence to remove my graphics card from my mother board and try an different slot. After doing this my problem was solved.
The guys could have told me to bring the PC to them and charged me. They did not. They freely gave their time and helped me. This not only gained my trust, but also shows their knowledge, skill and willingness to help. Great service and I will come back if I need any future help. Thanks guys :

Very helpful and knowledgable. Knew exactly what to do to help with my issue and it was done very well and promptly. Friendly staff and good work. Were even willing to stay open a little later to see me though I did endeavour to get ot them before they close. Felt like they were very willing to go above and beyond to help out. Would highly recommend.

I've been having a fan issue with my laptop for ages, taken it apart, cleaned it but no joy. Didn't want to buy a fan without getting it diagnosed properly, finally got around to taking it to Computer Repair Shop, never used them before. 5 mins later I came out knowing exactly the problem and they staff even helped me find the fan I needed on Ebay at the best price! Super chuffed, it was easy as pie using these guys I couldn't have asked for better service.
