The Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) is a grant that helps to pay for additional equipment and support that you may need as a direct result of your physical disability, mental health condition, autism spectrum disorder or specific learning difficulty. DSA may help with the cost of having a personal helper, specialist equipment, the additional cost of travel and other items for your course, such as printing and photocopying costs.
Display Screen Equipment (DSE) is defined by the Health and Safety Executive as a device or equipment that has an alphanumeric or graphic display screen, regardless of the display process involved; it includes both conventional display screens and those used in emerging technologies such as laptops, touch-screens and other similar devices.
