At our workshop near Reading we repair all Apple Computers at competitive rates, we perform upgrades and will sort out software problems.
Although price is important, quality and customer service is also a top priority at VIS and we always strive to keep standards high.
Our engineers have over 20 years experience in repairing Apple Computers and are very knowledgeable about all that is Apple.

Having problems with your Mac? At VIS we are able to diagnose and repair 99. 9% of all Apple computers we see. We aim to provide the best service we can at the most reasonable price.
This is the way it works
You can either send or bring your Apple computer for repair to our workshop near Reading where we will diagnose the problem.
Once we have done so you will be contacted with your quote for labour and parts (if required) .
Provided you proceed with our quote then the diagnosis is free.
If you decide that you do not want to go ahead with the quote for any reason then you can simply decline it and we would charge 25 for our time.
We will normally quote a fixed price on all repairs.
Standard repairs we aim to quote within 2-3 days depending on work load.
In a hurry?
We can repair your Apple computer while you wait or same day (by appointment) depending on availability of parts, this will however incur an extra charge for this service.
Looking to upgrade?
This service is not all about fixing broken machines either. If you would like to upgrade your Mac with a faster / larger Hard Drive or some more RAM to help with modern applications but don't want to do it yourself, we can help.
If you have data you need transferring from an old / new machine or hard drive we can also help.
In fact if it's anything Apple then it's probably worth giving us a call.

I reckon Andy saved me at least 1,500 on refurbishing our ten year old Apple IMac. Seriously if you think your old Apple computer is on its last legs bring it over to Andy. He will sort it in no time. He keeps you posted on progress and likely costs and in the end makes sure you have all the licences you need. I will definately be back!

VIS repaired a connector on the main logic board of my 2012 Mac Mini, installed a new SSD, and updated the OS. They provided an accurate estimate, obtained the replacement part and completed the repair quickly (3 days from drop-off), at a very reasonable cost, extending the life of my Mini. VIS is an excellent repair service that benefits the environment by reducing waste.

I took my iMac to Andy after the Apple store told me they no longer support repairs on my machine. The HDD was dying and needed replacement. Everything else about the machine still perfect. Andy fitted a new SSD and managed to transfer all of the data from the failing drive. When I got it home, i was up and running in minutes with my full setup as normal. The 9 year old machine runs as fast as the day it was born! Professional, quick and great value. Highly recommend.

Adding to the pool of excellent reviews: just had my macbook returned after keyboard and case replacement and all is working great. Andy has proven to be very open, professional and transparent when asked about the cost upfront. Will be my go-to place instead of Apple store going forward.
