We set up Twilight Zone Engineering with one simple aim: to give our clients the best technology support services available, no matter what business they were in. We are based in Watford, Hertfordshire (junction 21, M25), just 15 miles north of London's West End, where you'll also find our computer sales and repair showroom.

I received a high quality service from George from the Twilight Zone Engineering team, he supported in understanding my needs for the IMAC device and provided additional advice to answer all my queries. He has a supportive and professional mannerism & went out of his way to support. I was also so surprised with the quick turnover. I contacted Twilight Zone with a major issue I had with my Imac running very slow and constantly crashing. As a graphic designer, I need to run multiple applications and design software at the same time and my file sizes are very large. To date I had spent hours on the phone to Apple to try and trouble shoot if there was any faults with my machine with the outcome being I need a more powerful one. Purchasing a new Mac is extremely costly and there is currently a waiting time of 6/12 weeks.
I have a very tight deadline to complete and the thought of loosing any more valuable working hours, was very stressful. I called TZ and spoke to Andrew, who immediate understood what I was dealing with and offered recommended options for me to consider. I had the quote back within the hour to help speed up the ordering process, so the parts I needed arrived in time and contacted me early the next morning to make all the final arrangements to get my Mac booked in and upgraded. Andrew and his team went the extra mile to get it all turned around in 1.5 days to ensure I could work again on Monday.

After calling on 3 separate occasions where I had given the serial number of my laptop each time I decided to book an appointment with the company. I do not live in Watford and I do not drive so I had a relative to bring me to the shop on said appointment day, only to be either Covid or racially profiled at the door, firstly I was asked to remove the laptop casing on the roadside before I could be let it, then he eventually takes the laptop only to leave me outside further still where it began to rain, I knocked the window reluctantly he opened the porch area and said I could stand there, then came the final straw where he asked me to call him on their office line (whilst standing right there) Eventually he opened the door and told me my laptop was too old and there was nothing they could do to assist.
I do not expect to have called a 'recommended' store to be met with such slackness, on the phone calls I made leading up to the appointment the serial number was given which of course tells what year the laptop was made NEVER in those calls was I told my laptop was too old (mid 2012 MacBook Pro) I was furious to say the least he wasted not only mine but other people's time & money and was acting extremely rude and even sacred which was just awkward for me (I am exempt from mask etc) neither of his staff members had a mask yet he still felt it appropriate to make it as uncomfortable as possible. Ridiculous state of affairs from the off and extremely frustrating!
In response to your reply, there were no other customers in the shop when I arrived so I did not see anything as you so suggest! Also your reply does not cover the fact that I was entirely put out of my way when this could have all been stated on the phone the 3 times I had called in prior having given my serial number each time. I clearly stated I was exempt so I don't expect anyone whom is choosing to work in buildings to be acting like people are leper's on their doorstep! But thanks for the apology for wasting my morning and for NOT doing your diligence before booking appointments in store!

Just amazing professional service. They were able to fix my 7 year old Macbook Pro when Apple could not. Parts are genuine and the service itself was superb and professional. The people there are very polite and friendly! Shoutout to Andrew and Nelly for answering all my questions about the repairs :

4 star because they were very nice and professional (great Covid procedure) but they could not fix my machine. I was quoted 200 for a battery replacement despite paying for 3 year AppleCare extended warranty. They ran diagnostics and computer said no. I phoned Apple that evening and sent it off to the Czech Republic to be repaired and had the full works done for free including battery, new USB ports due to faulty charging and a replaced keyboard. Had it back in 3 days via UPS door to door.
It was a shame that I couldn't support a local business, especially in the current climate. I think this is a problem with Authorised Service Providers rather than Twilight Zone, but I will always go the official Apple way from now on.

My MacBook Pro had decided to become non responsive and needed a repair! I chose Twilight, on recommendation, because the Apple Store had no capacity. There was a delay due to parts availability and then the onset of Covid lock down v2. However, communication was very good and Covid procedures excellent. The icing on the cake was that Apple covered the cost of the repair! I was able to collect my laptop in a Covid secure manner and it is working perfectly and looks like new! I would definitely recommend Twilight for any Apple repairs.

After almost soaking my laptop in orange squash, Twilight quoted me much less than Apple to repair. Took them much longer than expected to complete the work - was told 3-10 working days, but ended up being just over 3 weeks (waiting for a specific part). However, their service was very professional and informative with a really helpful attitude. My laptop is now in absolute PERFECT condition, and feels brand new. Will hopefully not need to see them again, but if I do, they will be my first port of call. Thank you.

Thank you Andrew and team for the amazing service! I came in with a 2017 15inch MBP which had a faulty screen and a repair cost of over 600! After the engineers inspected the mac, they rang me up and told me i have more than 1 fault and that i'm protected under consumer law. My mac was repaired for free within 14 days. Thank you for going above and beyond the expected. I doubt i would have received the same level of service if i went direct to Apple. S
