I've just had a new hard drive installed on my laptop by Keith and Martin at PCC. Based on my experience I can highly recommend them for their professional, courteous and friendly service. All efforts were made to ensure the laptop was returned to me with the same applications and software as before. At no extra charge Keith assisted me remotely at a later date to resolve a printer issue. This is something called 'customer service' which is sadly lacking in many businesses these days.

It's with regret that I leave this review as the guys that run this place were very pleasant. However its difficult to ignore that it cost 30 for an unresponsive keyboard issue to be fixed for over a month with changing weekly deadlines only for the same issue to come back merely weeks later. This occurred between January and February of 2020 therefore I feel I am not being unfair in regards to the problems that came with COVID. ---------- I am unsure how to reply in a thread so I have just added a further explanation onto this review.
I understand this was a while ago, however I did try to contact PCC about the reoccurrence on several occasions throughout the year. Not receiving a response earlier in 2020 was understandable due to the strict lockdowns. However, I did make attempts to email and call by August (I have included a screen shot of one such email), and last attempting to contact in January 2021 to no avail.
As for waiting so long to post this grievance, due to COVID I felt it was unfair to post negatively on delays and a lack of response during such an unprecedented time. But after a while I concluded that the experience simply left me paying just to have the same technical issue.

I had a very nasty experience via my laptop and as a result I phoned Frankwell Computers in quite a state! They helped me calm down and also told me what I needed to do. My laptop had to be wiped rebuilt and restored. I can't praise you guys enough for what you've done to help me. I've collected my laptop today and have learned very invaluable lessons! I would recommend Frankwell Computers 💯% I'm so very grateful to you. And any further problems I'll be back!!

It is with reluctance that I am posting a negative review for this company as I try to support local business. However, since I purchased a laptop from this company I have had very bad service. The laptop was very slow from the beginning and I took it back about 3 times and each time it came back as bad as before. Also each time I had to chase it up as there was no communication from Keith Williams, the proprietor.
My husband left messages on his phone but they were ignored. Finally I was told it had been sent back to the manufacturer and after chasing it up again I was told it needed a new hard drive. Clearly it was not fit for purpose when it was sold to me. Also I was told I must have dropped it and it was damaged and I would have to pay over 40 for this.
I refused and when I finally got it back there was no damage and it still did not work properly. I took it back again and again I was left waiting weeks without any communication. I went into the office and asked about it. Mr Williams pretty much ignored me and in fact was quite rude in his attitude. I took the laptop away, very dissatisfied with the whole experience.
The laptop is working but all my photos and some other applications have been wiped. I have since visited another computer service, Salop Technology in The Parade, which I would thoroughly recommend. They sorted out everything that was wrong and were patient and courteous and very helpful. Incidentally Mr Williams also did our switch from TalkTalk to BT but due to an error our TalkTalk account was still live and we have had a large bill to pay. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone.

Fantastic service and perseverance by Keith to get the problem solved! Had an issue on my laptop that proved a bit more complex to resolve than originally anticipated. Keith persevered where I know others would've just given up. Problem solved in the end and I'm very happy with the result! It's great to support local businesses and even better when the service and outcome is 110%. Thanks Keith!
