Sheffield Computer Services started repair computers and laptops in Sheffield in May 2015. The business moved from Lincolnshire when it had been operating successfully since April 2012. We're a small business, but a hardworking one. Putting the customer first is our priority and we operate a quickly, reliably and honestly as possible. For us it is a about helping people and making money - but not through high prices. We realise that charging good fair prices will get us most customers in the longer term than higher prices for instant financial gain.
The company was starting by Nathaniel Moody who still runs the business and undertakes most of the repairs, tuition and website design. He has over 15 years experience repairing computers, starting from getting his first Pentium 166 machine working in the late1990's.
One reason for moving the business to Sheffield was to test the company against more and better competition than Lincolnshire had to offer, and to ultimately grow the business (but not into the next PC world).

Got my MacBook Air repaired after a water spillage. Nathaniel was the only emphatic person I called. He immediately corresponded with me quickly and I managed to drop my laptop off the same day and got it back after 2 days. Extremely pleased with the service and quick fix. Prices are extremely affordable and no service charges. You only pay for the damage. Will definitely go back for future issues. Highly recommend!

I found Nathanial and his business via the many 5* reviews on google and can say after using he met and surpassed all my expectations. After calling up the process was a doddle. He was very communitive and the whole process of booking in and dropping off was seamless. There was absolutely no messing about that you would expect with some repair companies.
Within a day he'd found the parts needed for my specific laptop and sent me over an estimation on repair costs. Parts were ordered and within a week of me handing it in I picked up what looked and feels like a new laptop. Prices were very reasonable and he even replaced some parts free of charge. This was all over the covid and Christmas period. I can't recommend him enough

Would highly recommend! Nathaniel is knowledgeable, professional and very thorough at resolving issues. I had major problems with my ASUS laptop to the point where I could hardly use it at all due to the operating system drive being clogged. Nathaniel carried out a thorough investigation on this and repaired it successfully and it is now working perfect. Fantastic and speedy service!

Nathaniel fixed the tracker pad on my laptop which had a mind of it's own and the cursor was moving all over the place. He initially told me it might be in for a few days, but he turned it around in less than 24 hours! Laptop is working great, and friendly and professional service to boot. Highly recommended.

Nathaniel @ Sheffield Computer Services has upgraded my HP laptop fitting more RAM, an SSD drive and giving it a good clean to alleviate the noisy fan. Excellent service from Sheffield Computer Services. Got through initially on the phone straightaway and was able to drop off my laptop immediately. The whole repair only took 24 hrs and the laptop is now working perfectly. The whole experience was seamless and at a very competitive price. Wholeheartedly recommend!

I had a virtually dead PC, hard drive failure and so slow. As a photographer the data and speed of my PC is very important to me. Sheffield Computer Services revived my PC and saved my data. The repair and upgrade was done quickly and the service was great, even afterwards with queries giving good advise. I really thought my PC was dead, but now working better than when new. I received a great service with this company. To be still working as normal during this crisis was a great help when my laptop failed. My problem was handled quickly, efficiently and Nathaniel was very friendly. Nice guy, very knowledgeable, suggested a few different options all at different price points, didn't charge me anything just to look at the computer issues I was having. Found problem and solution(s) within 24hrs, explained the problem, then went through the different solutions, prices and benefits to each one. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again Nathaniel

Nathan replaced my failing hard drive with an SSD drive and updated me to Windows 10. My laptop is better than ever. Before I made the decision to repair my laptop, I spoke to a few different companies. As soon as I spoke to Nathan I felt very confident and immediately made the decision to go for the repair.

Really nice guy, really helpful and did a good job, kept me up to date with any issues and let me test that the problem with fixed before i took it home so went the extra mile which you wouldn't get elsewhere, would recommend and use him again and his rates are very fair. Issue was a gaming machine rebooting randomly, it need a new PSU, took a couple of attempts to figure out but Nathaniel cracked it.

Nathaniel did a very good job in a very short time. I brought him my HDD that just felt and broke, and he fixed it in only a week (including the delivery time for a new cable). Furthermore, he replaced the old plastic case of my HDD by a metal new one, and updated my cable from an USB 2.0 to an USB 3.0 (making my HDD twice as fast than before it broke).
Finally, the price was really reasonable and clearly worth the work.

I contact SheffieldComputerService on Saturday for a qoute. To my surprinse i got a reply straight away And within And hour my Pc was dropped Off to them. Been told that due a big amount of work on that Weekend , he will Take a Look on Monday. Got a call on monday, And asked permission to go ahead with first option towards repair. Unfortunately the PC was not worth fixing.
I did like all the explaining I got, backed up by pictures taken during work done. Also appreciate the advise, not to go further with fixing it, in this case because was not worth it. Overall great service, professional and worthy. Totally recommend them.
