We provide a variety of computer repair services on all brands of desktop computers and laptops around Coventry and Warwickshire. Our most common jobs include Hard Disk replacements, Memory upgrades, Motherboard replacements. Although we also do all component upgrades and new systems built to customer requirements and specifications.
Laptop screens can easily be damaged and we replace them often. The damage always looks severe and would incline many to purchase a new laptop, without realising screen replacement is always a far cheaper option with astounding results. A noisy clicking laptop sometimes accompanied with a very slow laptop usually indicates the Hard Disk is tired and worn-out and very much on the brink of failure.
Laptop screen are a common repair as so easily broken. Whether it be from dropping, knocking, leaving a pencil on the keyboard and closing the lid. It's very easily to do and once the damage is done, it can sometimes be impossible to resume work, gaming, or other tasks until you fix the laptops display.

I thought Windows 10 had caused me being unable to boot up my laptop, but Roger came and collected it and found the hard disk had bombed. Initially it seemed my data was lost but Roger was able to recover it after trying alternative ways and spending a whole day on it. Five star service indeed - and at a reasonable price, far cheaper than a repair shop who likely would not have been able to do what Roger did.

After months of having problems with our laptop not firing up we gave it to Roger who diagnosed a faulty motherboard and problematic CMOS. As it was an old laptop we were advised to upgrade as the cost of repair was uneconomical. Roger's service was excellent and friendly we had an answer fast. Found Roger via his 5* Google reviews - I can confirm he definitely deserves this rating! I contacted him earlier today advising my laptop had slowed down, dropped it off with him this afternoon, agreed to his quote, an within two hours he had swapped out my old hard drive for a new SSD. He then kindly dropped the laptop back to my house free of charge tonight. A pleasure to deal with, highly recommend.

Macbooks are very delicate and require extreme care in handling. I got my macbook pro battery replaced as it reached it's limit. Roger did that within 2-3 days what he committed to. He also gave some valuable tips for taking care of my macbook. So far there are no issues with my Mac and it's running perfectly fine. If you are looking for some decent and honest guy for trusting your computer with, I say go for Home Computer Fix.

Had a webcam break on my grand daughters laptop. Roger was able sources the relevant parts and fix the laptop with ease. You would now not know it has even been touched. Excellent service, I really can't recommend Home-Computer-Fix.co.uk highly enough. My laptop was running really slow. Roger identified the problem quickly with the laptop, installed new SSD hard disk and reinstalled Windows and copied my photos and documents across. Running really fast now, I'm really happy with it. I would highly recommend him and will use his service again in the future.

Outstanding, reliable service! I contacted a number of technicians for help however Roger came to my rescue and was the first to promptly respond and deal with my laptop issues. I handed my laptop to him in the morning and got it back the same day in a much better, superb condition. I could not fault his service. I am very happy with the job Roger has done on my laptop. It was nearly 10 years old and was running chronically slow. I did not want to buy a new one, and he reassured me after looking at it and saw what I used it for that he would get it flying. After 2 days with him he updated the windows from version 7 to 10, put in a newer quicker hard drive and transferred all my data, applications and bookmarks. Really happy with the outcome - running like new and like using it again. Thanks again.

I dropped my laptop and smashed one of the screen hinges. Contacted Roger who collected it the same day and returned it as good as new within 4 days, and reasonably priced, they don't rip you off - fantastic speedy, professional service, thank you Roger and I will certainly be recommending him to friends and family.

My laptop was running slow. As I use it for work it was important that it was fixed as soon as possible. As a single woman I was concerned about inviting a man I didn't know into my home. Roger put me at ease immediately. He was very friendly and professional. His time keeping was impeccable. He was able to come out to fix my computer the same day. Laptop was really slow then screen cracked. Phoned some computer repair shops and after getting their quotes I was just going to replace for new. One of my friends recommended this guy. Found his website www.home-computer-fix.co.uk. Two days later Laptop running as good as new with new screen for just over half the cost the shops gave! Also gave me some good advice to keep it running smoothly.

I phoned to enquire about a problem I had with my computer and the next day Roger came to collect it. The following day the computer was returned, fixed and he has done an excellent job. Great service and a great find. I used Home-Computer-Fix to upgrade my PC. Roger went out of his way to accommodate the timescale I needed. Cracked the screen of my laptop and after calling round many laptop repair services in Coventry decided to opt for Home-computer-fix. Roger quoted a reasonable price once he had the information he required but also exceeded my expectations with a fast service as I need my laptop for my business. From the start Roger was up front and honest with me and kept me informed through out.
As promised my screen was fixed within a couple of days and is as good as new. This company restored two of our home computers back to life. We believed our iMac was beyond repair but HCF has it running more quickly than when it was new. They also saved data (including cherished photographs) that we presumed lost. They did this quickly and with excellent value for money. We would happily recommend them to anyone.

Wow what great service. Your courier picked up my laptop on Monday - right on the dot of the time specified in their text to me, and I have it back this morning. I received a text telling me that my laptop would be returned between 10 and 11 and it was here at 10! I don't think I have ever encountered such prompt collection/delivery!

My Windows laptop got some kind of Virus and went unworkable and slow with pop up adverts. I was in a me to get on the Internet.
Roger explained cause and how it could be resolved and gave me a better price than I was quoted by two other repair companies. He picked up my laptop on a Friday evening and I had it back fixed by Saturday night. He really helped me out as I had course work for Uni due in. He called me the following Monday to check everything was okay which i thought was a nice touch.

Friendly and reliable without demanding to do more work that I didn't require. Other so called professionals, those that contacted me back anyway, wanted up up to 3x the amount Roger charged and refused to do just what I wanted/needed from them.
Been building systems for over 20 years. Nerve damage in my hands affects my grip and coordination.
I damage the CPU socket on my motherboard. I got a replacement and just needed it fitted. Well technically I just wanted the CPU fitted so I didn't damage the socket again. Others wanted a complete rebuild and a fresh install of Windows. As such I changed my expectations and started asking for a motherboard and CPU install only. Still they all wanted more.
I currently have no transport. Pickup services was my only option. Have to say I was rather nervous after Roger drove away with my system. Only ever left a system for troubleshooting in a place I had worked at 20 years ago because I new the staff but theuy have since closed.
Roger did what I asked. He even squeezed in installing the motherboard for me. Had I enquired he would have happily popped round and installed just the CPU for me.
Good to know for any future build I may do. If you want a service that doesn't charge for things you don't need nor want then and is performed by someone friendly then Roger is you man. Thanks Roger
