Adam and laptop Specialists found a workable solution to a repair problem nobody else I approached was able to get their head around. And then found another even simpler solution and offered that after I had already ok'd the first. I had the laptop back the next day and it works perfectly. Don't waste your time, just go straight to them for an opinion that you can 100% trust and fast and efficient work. In summary, Laptop Specialists were open, friendly, capable, fast and honest. Hard to find nowadays. Communication was also prompt. I highly recommend Adam and Laptop Specialists to anyone.

Sent my laptop to this shop after reading the reviews and hoping for the best, turned out the motherboard was dead and the only option was for a replacement which I decided not to do at the time, happy to pay the £47.50 fee as it included collection and delivery for them checking it out, week or so after getting the laptop back decided to take it apart myself since it was broken and have a look inside (i was intrigued, who wouldn't be) turns out I was quoted for a completely wrong motherboard that would not have fitted, and then wondered if they actually looked inside, I emailed stating I opened it up and the codes were different than what was quoted in the original invoice and asked for a quote for this motherboard or if it could be fixed since it was a different motherboard than they thought, and received no reply. This has been around 2 months, so they've had plenty of time, Feels like I wasted £47.50, and I would highly recommend people to avoid this and send their laptop elsewhere.

After a long Internet search to find a repairer for my HONOR MagicBook 16 laptop (it has suffered from water damage), I found Laptop Specialists in Sheffield. I'm glad I found Laptop Specialists. I had consulted two earlier repairers who did not fill me with hope being very vague about being able to do the job until third time lucky I called Adam. He talked sense and did a great job. My grandsons laptop is now performing as it should. Very professional, comprehensive estimate and repair. Would definitely recommend.

Before contacting Adam I took my laptop into another repair shop they told me it was completely dead and irreparable. After speaking to Adam he saw me within 1 hour and 1 hour after that he told me he could fix it. If I had a seen the email in time, the laptop would of been fixed the same day never the less, less than 24 hours later it is fixed. Friendly and polite Adam offers a Absolutely brilliant service and does exactly what' is asked of him, skip all the cowboys and go straight Adam with pc or laptop issue is my advice as this fix saved me over 2000 as if I had listened to the first advice I would of thrown away a fixable laptop and bought a new one. I had an issue with my laptop fan so dropped this over to Adam. Adam was very responsive and knew the root to my issue straight away and he cleaned the laptop out for a small fee. The laptop ended up needing a replacement fan which he fixed for free. Great customer server would definitely use again!

I Broke my motherboard and decided To contacted laptop specialist and they helped me! They fixed my motherboard which i really thought it was to ready to be trashed. They contacted me and reassured and updated me until it was ready to be shipped out! My laptop suddenly stopped charging and wouldn't turn on. It's crucial for work, so it needed an urgent repair. I took it to Adam, who ran some tests, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in under half an hour! Excellent service- would highly recommend!

Laptop Specialists have just overhauled my laptop, repairing various faults as well as identifying and fixing a long-standing problem - all at very reasonable cost - and it is as good as new! Communications were great - very helpful, kind, patient and responsive from start to finish. I had my Sony Vaio repaired last week with Laptop specialists. I was impressed with the help I received over the phone, everything was explained to me in layman's terms so I understood very well. Thanks Laptop specialists!

This company for some reason found it acceptable to take my laptop in with a minor screen blurring issue. Send back a quote saying the motherboard was not functioning and quoting J200+ to repair and then after bullying me into paying J80 for the diagnosis sent me back my laptop which was only 2 years old and of a very high spec for the time with several of the working components removed and replaced with items that do not function.

To further cover up this crime they sent it back without a charger and then after chasing them for some time I was told by Danny Rodgers (Who spoke to me in a very threatening and unpleasant manner) that my charger had probably been stolen, presumably by one of his colleagues and I should just deal with it and he would send a new one when he could.

Over a fortnight later I received a charger that looked like it had been freshly dug up from his garden. It was dirty and clearly far older than my machine. It was then I realised that although the machine powered up nothing functioned at all. Upon taking a closer look inside it appeared some of my previously functioning hardware had been replaced with old broken junk and when I called to complain again Danny Rodgers was highly aggressive and terminated the call without even an explanation or sympathy for my situation.

I tried to contact another member of the staff but after several days of trying I came to the conclusion he was the only one there. This company has the most abhorrent customer service I have ever encountered and if you value the contents of your laptop take it to an accredited repair centre although throwing it against a wall will probably have a better outcome than using this company.

I originally sent my VAIO VPCF series laptop into 2 repair centres to repair a graphics fault. Both repairers said that they had to replace the motherboard; one of them had the cheek to try and charge me for a screen also. Laptop Specialists advertise as a Sony specialist so decided to have a chat over the phone with one of their engineers, Simon.

He advised me that repairs can be carried out on the graphics for a flat fee and if they couldn’t repair it, they wouldn’t charge me. Courier arrived and had my laptop back repaired for the promised fee within 48 hours. Honestly I would recommend Laptop Specialists to anyone.

This company is a local company in my area, Chesterfield. After finding the place which could have been better located however the guys gave me very good instructions on the phone and even waited for me after half past 5 which I was very pleased with. Both the guys there were very friendly and honest and straight to the point. The next day I got back up they had done everything agreed, I paid the 2 hours labour and they suggested a free memory upgrade they sorted for me in seconds. I was very impressed. All in all a good experience and will be telling my colleagues.
