Mountain Stream Ltd provide a comprehensive health check up and cleaning service for your computer. We'll take it apart and give it a good physical clean up. We'll remove the old thermal compound on the CPU/GPU and replace it. Then we'll check your hard drive for any signs of impending failure.

I had a laptop which was giving a blank screen and error about being unable to locate my desktop folder, preventing me from running anything. Feared that a Windows reinstall would be needed. However, Neil was able retrieve everything without a reinstall, and also did a spring clean of unwanted apps. I dropped the laptop off with him at 6pm, and it was ready by 10.30 the next morning. Impressive turnaround, and very reasonably priced. Will be very happy to use Mountain Stream again.

Neil first repaired my PC two years ago, and I contacted him for advice on upgrading my motherboard and processor. He was brilliantly helpful in outlining which parts would be best to add, suggesting multiple options for my budget. I had a Dell XPS with damaged battery's screw which I was unable to remove it. While it is not a technical issue with the laptop but it was critical since DELL engineer was coming to fix the computer(under warranty) if battery wont come off the engineer certainly could void the repair. Mountain Stream managed to remove the screws without damaging the battery and replaced it. Dell engineer came on-site and fixed the laptop without noticing anything. He was nice and pleasant and to deal with.

I took my laptop to Neil to see why it wasn't turning on and It kept switching on then off constantly. He had a look at it and then spent 30 mins explaining all the options available to me including if I didn't get him to repair it where I could purchase a good second hand laptop. Short notice repairs were required to my PC between Christmas and New Year. I contacted Mountain Stream and Neil was quick to respond and accommodated my request to bring my PC in for diagnosis as I was having hardware issues. Within 2 hours he managed to successfully identify and fix all of the problems with my PC, some of which I wasn't even aware of.
