1ComputerCare Eugene Gardner graduated with a Computer Science degree in 1983 and has worked in the field ever since. Initially contracting to large corporations worldwide, Eugene returned to England in 2002 and set up 1ComputerCare to provide help in plain English.

Don't replace the whole computer when just one or two hardware parts have failed. We can diagnose the cause of a fault and advise whether proceeding is economically viable. Often we can replace a single item and get the computer back to you for less than a quarter of the cost of a new model.
Thank you for considering 1ComputerCare for your computer's repair and maintenance. My aim is to provide a level of support and service that encourages repeat business and referrals. Where it is not possible for a complaint to be resolved, the client will be given a clear explanation in writing. The client will also be given a copy of the Buy With Confidence customer feedback leaflet and advised that they can contact the Trading Standards Service if they wish to do so.All actions taken regarding a complaint, including letters, telephone calls and site visits, will be recorded in the complaint log, which will be reviewed on a quarterly basis.

If the scope of the work is clearly definable at the start of a job, clients may choose a fixed price (examples below) before the start of the job. Otherwise a variable time based rate, perhaps with a pre-determined maximum, will apply. The variable rate is 40 an hour for workshop based jobs or 50 an hour for work undertaken at the client's premises.

I had been getting some warning notices from Windows that meant nothing to me. Eugene sorted out these glitches on my laptop very quickly and also identified some other issues, all of which were taken care of very promptly and thoroughly.

I wish I knew as much about computer technology as Eugene. Fortunately Eugene can access my computer and improve its performance remotely and never seems to mind that I don't understand the technology. He's already supplied a terrific laptop to match my requirements and now it seems I am destined to have the fastest internet in the Wild West (of Tunbridge Wells) by buying a better modem. Eugene, you provide an excellent service as always and we thank you very much for this!

I was only irritated by my lack of understanding in the technology, and appreciated your early help and ability to access my computer remotely. I was grateful that you also came to our house to diagnose the problem.

'A Safe Pair of Hands' I haven't kept a history of the work that Eugene Gardner of 1ComputerCare has carried out for me over many years, so I can't say how long I have been using his services. What I am sure of, however, is that like the rising sun, his technical expertise, courtesy and patience is the one thing you may be absolutely sure of. I don't consider myself to be an absolute dummy when it comes to IT matters but then I'm no expert either.

When IT things go wrong (as they do) I'm prepared to 'have a go' myself in the secure knowledge that Eugene is around even if I screw things up! The only downside to 1ComputerCare is that he takes Sundays off and sometimes even takes holidays! Long may the Company last!

As a mere novice with computers I struggle with technology, but Eugene is always very calm and explains things to me. If you are thinking of "Going on Line", purchasing a laptop or main computer, speak to Eugene he is a great help.

I would just like to say how pleased I am with the new computer you have provided. Your personal supervision of the specification required was much appreciated. My computer now includes all that I require and not a package of unwanted features. It is a pleasure, in this day and age, to find someone that does exactly what he says he will do.

Extremely helpful and professional. Eugene helped recover data from my old PC's hard drive that failed and then worked with me to understand my requirements and build an appropriate specification for a new PC. Eugene helped install the new PC and transferred all my old data. Great customer service.

Eugene never fails to amaze us. His professionalism and expertise are without equal and the speed with which he has remotely fixed my PC is just unbelievable. Last evening after business hours, I stupidly clicked on a pop-up on Facebook (Melania Trump sues for divorce! - could YOU resist?) and the computer froze with a loud voice message giving a number to call. I didn't, but left a message for Eugene requesting a call-back. He did this morning at 9am, and the PC, controlled remotely by Eugene, was fixed by 11. A complete star.

I cannot recommend 1ComputerCare more highly. Eugene is always there to sort out computing problems for us: we would be lost without his great knowledge and competence. While the media and friends were recently full of horror stories on traumas following upgrading to Windows10, Eugene did this for me seamlessly. My latest aggravation has been with my laptop refusing to send my printer the command to print.

On the internet we found that we were not alone: others had experienced the same problem and had been unable to resolve it. No problem for Eugene: my printer is back in action!
