Fantastic used laptop purchased for our daughter, which we are very pleased with - Fabio extremely helpful in making a decision on what to buy. Also used KIT before for repairs which has always been excellent.

Sorted out our home PC that was generally slow to fire up and sluggish in operation. KIT installed a SSD and now it works perfectly. Very fair price too.

I just received my repaired laptop and am thrilled with the service. I received a quote the same day and it was then repaired within 2 days of accepting. Fully fixed and for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this company and would use them again!

Have had an issue with my laptop battery not charging fully. Took my laptop into the shop and was given a diagnosis of how to repair. Very professional staff, ordered me a new battery and called me next day to tell me it had arrived and to bring my laptop in to the shop. Within 1 hour it was sorted. Highly recommend.

Having accidentally smashed my MacBook Air screen I was in a panic as I couldn't access any work documents. I made contact with KIT via email who responded promptly and with courtesy and I was able to take my laptop in for repair with a 24 hour turnaround time. The repair was cheaper and faster than Apple and saved me a trip into Leeds. Would highly recommend.

Fab service, expertise, professionalism and manners. Went to Easy Repairs and the man there was so nasty, angry, sarcastic and awkward, so I left his house business in Queenswood Grove, Acomb and instead came to KIT - a real professional outfit with real opening hours and who are totally professional, expert, polite and helpful with added value advice and warranty and had my full hard drive recovered in hours and laptop rebuilt with a new hard drive.

I will not go anywhere else now as they are just so easy to deal with, without egos and trustworthy. I was treated like a fellow professional not spoken down to like 'just a female'. Super highly recommend! There are few descent tech companies in York, but here I have finally found the support I need for me and my business. Thank you KIT York.

Exceptional service from 2 very friendly, professional and extremely competent guys. Apple tole me my iPad Pro could not be repaired and wanted me to pay 499 for a replacement (of an old model). Turns out the USB-C charging capability was quickly restored at a reasonable price by these guys. Shame on Apple. Kudos to KIT!

I've been here twice to fix my laptop and both times the guys were really nice and friendly. They fixed my laptop quickly and didn't at all overcharge me, I thought it was going to cost me loads to get it fixed. Really nice, genuine staff : they were happy to help

My laptop was crashing unexpectedly and the team thought they'd be able to fix it but unfortunately couldn't and said they'd have to send it away but we're extremely honest and said that trying to fix it would probably cost as much as the laptop cost (MacBook). They had my laptop for three days trying their hardest to fix it but it was a hard issue with an extremely old laptop.

They were so professional and very apologetic about the situation and charged me next to nothing! I was so shocked baring in mind they had just had my laptop for three days and they charged me pennies for their work which they had clearly spent a lot of time and effort on! If I ever have another problem with a laptop I will be going here and I will certainly be recommending this place to my friends.

Brilliant guys, tried taking my laptop to PC world told me it would be over 160 to even look at it and it would be at least a week for them to look at it. Decided to take my laptop here. Quoted 15 for investigation and had an answer and solution within 24 hrs and laptop fixed within 48 hrs. Definitely will use again. Definitely will suggest to others.

The service and staff were top class. They did the work quickly. There was support after the work was done if needed. Recommended.

£40 for my 4 year old laptop to be much faster, colder and more user friendly is great! They stayed open late so I could pick it up after work and after an initial miscommunication about time frames were very helpful!

The guys really go all out to give you the best service and i could certainly recommend them, well worth looking them up as they know what they are talking about and can do some amazing repairs.

Amazing service! My nails had come out of my canon g7x II camera and i was having a nightmare as nowhere in the uk sold the screws and I needed it to work today! Luckily the guys here found some screws for me and did it and now I can get back to work!! Thanks so much 5 stars!!

Great little team, used them twice now for two different problems, great at updating and keeping in touch. Not your usual IT support where you feel like they are talking down to you - these are really great guys and genuinely happy to help. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Had a laptop with wine spilt over the keyboard. Went to KIT and found they really know what they are doing, kept me in touch with the fix, parts had to be ordered from Holland, fix was rapid and very reasonably priced. Laptop back to working great. Special mention for Fabio who called me numerous times to update Have no hesitation in recommending these guys for great service and good price.

Excellent service! I was put off repairing my laptop screen as every other shop quoted me £250+, however KIT quoted a very reasonably price and did an excellent job, I’m very very happy. Would highly recommend and use again

Very prompt, efficient and courteous service. They kept me informed as to progress and the proposed solutions to the problems. Very reasonable fixed fee agreed at outset. I have used this firm before and will not hesitate to use them again.

After being put off by strangely high prices, found these guys that would replace my iPhone 6s battery for a really good price and a quick turnaround. No nonsense, work and part has warranty and the part was OEM too. Great stuff

The lid disintegrated on my HP laptop. PC world advised that it wouldn't be a viable repair. As its only 18 months old and cost nearly £600.00, I decided to take it to K & A IT for an assessment and was please to be told it could be repaired for a quarter of the new cost. I went ahead with the repair and was kept informed of the progress thought-out the process. I cannot fault their service, they are customer focused, polite and friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I will certainly use them again and would highly recommend them.

Had a virus on my iMac which I had tried and tried to eradicate - to no avail. Took it to K & A 9.30am, picked it up at 12 noon virus free. Friendly, affable guys.

Quite simply, outstanding value for money! I now have one (admittedly old) restored desktop pc, fully upgraded from Windows XP and functioning better than ever, for a fraction of the price I would have expected to pay. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
