Operating System Reinstall:
We can Re-Install and fully update any operating system whether its Windows based, Mac-OSX or any other linux based operating system. We will also backup your personal data and re-install any licensed software you have installed on your machine.
Clean-up - Performance or load time issues:
We can check and clean up your computer from any virus infections it may have, and speed up your machine significantly by removing un-used start up programs.
Health check - Strange unexplaned behaviour or ease of mind:
We can make sure your computer is in good health by checking all of its hardware components are in good order and let you know of any potential problems before they happen. We can also clean out system fans and apply fresh thermal paste resulting in a longer lifespan for your machine.
Custom built computers:
We build bespoke machines - Anything from bare bones machines and gaming PC's to Web servers and file servers. We can either work to a budget, or quote you with a range of options to suit your needs.
DC/Power Socket replacement - Powering or charging issues:
We can repair or replace the power socket on your laptop or netbook to fix powering/charging issues.
Screen Replacements - Cracked, Strange colours, or other display problems:
We can replace any broken or cracked screens if you are having display problems or the screen is cracked.
Keyboard Replacements - Only part of or none of they keyboard works, Missing keys:
We can replace the keyboard on your laptop/netbook even if you have spilt something on it.
Data backup and recovery:
We can backup data from an old machine even if it does not turn on. We can also attempt to recover lost data for you.
Broadband, Fibre optic and network setup:
We can set up your new broadband or fibre optic connection whether you've just got it installed in your home/office or if you have recently switched to a new ISP. We can also set up a home or small business network.
Weekends:
We are available to work at weekends for those who find it inconvenient during weekdays due to work and other commitments.

My internet went down last night, I phoned BT this morning they said I will be contacted in a couple of days as they think it's a problem with the connection outside- a friend told me about Reed Repairs so I rang them and Alex was at my house within half hour and fixed the problem in 15 minutes for a lot less than I was expecting, very good rates! Would definitely recommend!!

I asked AR Computers to build me a gaming pc, the end result was awesome. Alex gave me a spec via emails that he wanted me to look over, so that I knew what was being put into it. With his knowledge and advise I ended up with a PC that really rocks, and cost a lot less than I expected. I have also had some questions about every day PC issues, which Alex has helped me with very quickly. Highly recommended.

I would absolutely recommend Alex Reed for speedy, helpful service at a very reasonable cost. He repaired my laptop at one third of the cost of the quote from the manufacturer and kept me informed of developments throughout. I have got a my laptop back which I would otherwise have had to through in the bin and am extremely pleased about all aspects of the service I received.
