Bluefish Computer Services is a Chichester based Computer Repair, PC, Mac support and I.T. services company. We specialise in PC repair, diagnosing and repairing all kinds of computer, laptop, PC, Internet and network problems for homes and businesses in and around Chichester. Whether you just want some helpful advice over the phone, or need some further assistance we can help.
Unlike many other companies we offer a simple and affordable pricing structure for all our Computer Services, this is for your peace of mind. We want you to know what our service will cost before you commit. We don't have any hidden extras! Laptop / Desktop Repair - In most cases we can bring your Desktop or Laptop computer back to life, repairs will be undertaken quickly and economically.
Q: How long will my repair/service take? A: We repair most faults within 2-3 days, we also offer a 24 hour priority service (subject to availability of parts if needed). If we need to order parts then we can normally get these next day delivery. We realise how difficult being without your computer can be and we will always try to get it back to you as quickly as possible.
Our price list is designed to be fair, affordable and transparent with no hidden costs, we will always try to offer a fixed price before starting a repair. If we need to spend time diagnosing a fault there is a 30 diagnostic fee which is waived if we go ahead with a repair. Very happy with the speed of service, the virus was removed the same day I called, many thanks. My name is Stephen Holcroft and I started Bluefish Computer Services in 2011. Based in Chichester Bluefish offers friendly, fast and reliable computer repair and maintenance services to small business and residential customers in and around West Sussex.
I have been a computer engineer for 22 years. After leaving the University of Hertfordshire in 1998 with an HND in Business Information Technology I worked for various large corporate companies around the country looking after their I.T systems.
In 2011, I took the decision to start Bluefish Computer Services and work for myself. I have helped thousands of residential customers from the young to the very elderly with all different levels of knowledge; I am CRB checked and a member of Trading Standards Buy with Confidence Scheme.
I support all kinds of small businesses with their I.T systems including architects, opticians, solicitors, schools etc… I like to think I have a patient and personable approach and I will always take the time to explain and answer questions in a no-nonsense way.
When I am not fixing computers, I enjoy sailing dinghies in Chichester Harbour with my family. I also enjoy mountain biking on the South Downs, walking the dog on the beach and a spot of gardening.

Excellent service, a nice friendly chap who was quick to respond to my enquiry, dropped my completely dead iMac off with Steve and had it back and fixed in no time. Good open communication about pricing and about how I wanted to proceed with the repairs. Very pleased, rather than having to buy a whole new computer Steve just repaired the broken components and I'm back up and running.

Bluefish recommended to us by my cousin and thank goodness! Steve rescued our ailing mac and returned it fully up to date with software and, with some other interventions, it is now much, much faster - in fact, as fast as we've known it! We just moved to the area and both mine and my partners laptops had issues. Bluefish took them in and gave us a price to fix them both, we ended up fixing one (broken screen) and selling the other laptop to them as not worth the repair cost. They also fixed my webcam (loose wire) free of charge and removed a login error that kept popping up. Friendly, local, professional small business, would highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Bluefish enough! I had a problem on my computer that caused me to stay up all night without makinig any progress. The next morning I rang Bluefish and they fixed the problem within an hour! Friendly, reliable and brilliant value for money. Would definitely recommend and use again.

A terrific service! I had trouble setting up my business email so I contacted Steve for help. He promptly replied to my message and fitted me in very quickly. I guess I'm lucky living just a few hundred metres from Steve, but I would travel much further to get this kind of service. Steve has baled me out on problems with my PC and laptop 3 times in the past 2/3 years. The problem is always quickly diagnosed and just as quickly repaired. Great service, thoroughly recommended.

Last week, my wife's photo processing PC failed. She uses it daily for work and needed it to be resolved quickly and reliably. Bluefish appeared high on my google search and had good feedback so I looked no further, and am very glad I didn't. Steve found the issue, re-built the PC with a new hard drive very quickly allowing my wife to get back to work.
We were kept well informed about the progress and what would be required to fix the problem and the bill at the end was extremely reasonable. Would definitely use again and would recommend to anyone in the Chichester area.

Steve is brilliant! My computer stopped working late one night, the next morning I was at BlueFish chatting with him and he had determined the issue. You can’t ask for better than that! Although the computer couldn’t be repaired, Steve offered some great advice. He also did a super and speedy job of transferring the data onto a new laptop and backing it up for me. My PC was infected with fake security software which blocked my internet access and kept making windows pop up which tried to sell me products. Stephen arrived and quickly identified the problem and cleaned the virus from the PC, he also advised me on some steps to take to prevent it happening again. Steve Holcroft from Bluefish Computer Services gave me an absolutely brilliant service when I was recently suffering from windows 10 problems on my new laptop. The day before I had spent nearly a whole day in contact by chat line with Microsft Support and they had been unable to resolve the main issue. In desperate need of a solution I called Steve and he immediately looked at the problem and resolved it in about 20 minutes flat.
