Brought in my PC to sort an issue with the CPU power supply & graphics card. Was sorted in less than a day at a very reasonable price, would definitely recommend!

Very speedy service - dropped a laptop with iffy microphone at 10am and picked it up 4 hours later. Fair price charged for the time taken to diagnose and fix the problem. Good communication by text throughout. I could see that the laptop had been cleaned before I collected it which was a nice touch as at the time of writing we are in Covd-19 lockdown.

Lucky me that I found Mark at Churchgate Computers. I received an absolutely first class service when my AIO PC finally gave up the ghost, first he identified the problem, fixed that and got the machine running again, but discovered more problems due to the original fault. After discussion I decided that with more faults and the age of the PC, I was better off buying a new one.

Mark then migrated all my original data etc. to the new PC so everything is now back to normal. All through the experience he was helpful, polite and professional, responsive to my questions and charged me a very reasonable fee for his works, and with no charges for what may have been abortive work. I threw a glass of red wine over my laptop and Googled computer repairs in Bury St Edmunds and Churchgate Computer Services came up. I found Mark extremely helpful. He searched for a replacement keyboard as we spoke on the phone and quoted me a rough guide price. He then advised that I went and bought an external keyboard to check if this would work, which I did and it did, so I gave him a ring and told him to go ahead and source a keyboard. He texted me when it arrived and I dropped my laptop off yesterday lunchtime and picked it up again this morning. All sorted and I am very pleased :-

A very excellent service that i have no hesitation in recommending and at a very reasonable price. Broke my dc jack on the side of my laptop, was quoted a price to repair, so left it with them. On opening up laptop, chap discovered motherboard was also slightly cracked. Dc jack fixed as was crack and all repaired and fully working for the original repair price that was quoted to me. What more can i say!

The reason for my rating is as follows. Pro's - It was local which was handy. - The gentleman was polite and friendly - The price was reasonable. - Problem seems to be fixed. Cons - Took a long time to fix. Was quoted 3 days and took a week. - Lack of communication. - Works from home so difficult to find and quite unprofessional. All in all the problem i had seems to be fixed the price was ok and did not have to travel far. Personally i shall be going somewhere else in future. But if you need a affordable fix and you live local i would recommend Church Gate Computers.
