Screen technology has developed at such a rate that it is hard to keep up. There are many different types of technology and materials used in producing a modern screen, on laptop computers, on iPads and other tablets. And it's the portable devices generally suffer the most as they are exposed to more dangers than the traditional desktop screen which typically never moves location.
Laptops are particularly vulnerable to overheating. Despite the name 'laptop' they are not actually designed to be used on your lap! They need free circulation of air from underneath them and when used on a soft surface such as your lap, on a cushion, or on your duvet, they can easily overheat. Sometimes this can cause the solder (the stuff that holds components in place and provides the electrical connection) to soften or even melt. And if for any reason it cannot be repaired, there is NO CHARGE, so you have nothing to lose by giving us a call.
Imagine what it must be like to be a power socket. There are so many stresses and strains placed on them, often by mistreatment, trying to use the wrong charger or by the charger cable being tripped over or wrenched out of the socket. All these things can cause damage to the socket. And if it does manage to survive this abuse, then normal wear and tear can cause it to break or become unreliable.

Excellent knowledge of computers and computer systems. Ian and his colleagues are experts at fixing and installing anything from a laptop to a school or business full of technology. I've been using them at home and work since 2011. Decent people and decent prices. A sustainable option too: they won't tell you you to replace something if it isn't necessary. Highly recommended.

I've known owner Ian for a while but never used his professional services before. My work PC was running slow, despite having a hard-drive only half-full. I sent Ian the spec and he said it was probably because of not enough RAM.I dropped my PC off, picked it up the next day. The extra RAM was installed, my PC is much quicker, and the whole exercise was painless. They did what they said they would do!And the cost was extremely good value.

Their easy and confident ability to explain "techie issues" in plain english so that even an idiot can understand the problem. This is then followed up, again in plain english, with solutions to your problem. Finally they do not just recommend the most expensive solution but the one best for you. A truly great business ethic which encourages you to return as you are treated as being a long term client even on your first visit.

The guys there are very helpful with any computer problem, be it small or larger. As a woman, I appreciate any expert who does not treat me like an idiot and these guys certainly do not do that. Their fees are very reasonable and their service is quick. I live in walking distance of their shop, but it must really help others to have free parking right beside the shop.

I took my sad Laptop into Nixuss on Friday with a what was a BSOD (blue screen of death) on Friday along with a dead dvd rw drive and was solved by Monday afternoon....took it home and reloaded all my files and apps etc without a hiccup.....well done guys, you have a friend for life....you're brilliant, runs better than new, I would recommend them without reservation......

Very good service from knowledgeable and helpful staff who fixed my PC which was performing very poorly. They quickly analysed the problem which was due to a conflict with my anti-virus software and Windows 10. They removed several trojans and got my machine running perfectly.
