Very polite and courteous and his diagnosis was correct ( A faulty DC IN ) BUT he then went on to tell me that my 250 2 year old laptop was beyond economical repair and to consider replacing it. It was a good job I DID NOT take his advise and go and spend another 250 - 350 on a new one. I took it elsewhere and got the DC IN replaced and repaired back to full working order for 50 inclusive of labour, It also came with a 12 months warranty. Review - 2nd January 2022 Enquiry made - December 2021

Updated with reference to your reply: I used you a couple years ago when I needed you to check if I had a virus from a TalkTalk hack which I requested you to update me on how long it would take as I needed the laptop back asap. However, you didn't update me once within the 24 hours which I requested you to do as i needed my laptop back which left me chasing all day: You have also stated in your records which shows no update from you hence my annoyance.
Note for future that communication is key to customers so you should update customers as today's modern world people need their laptops. "Your initial contact to request service was on Monday 7th November 2016 at 1.51pm and you left a message for me. You then called back at 5.20pm and left another message for me. I was out on appointments when you made both of these calls. I called you back either on the evening of the 7th or the morning of the 8th."

I have used Jason at Computer Repair Man for a number of years and have always been impressed by his knowledge and levels of service.
