I left my iMac for a SSD upgrade. I was given plenty of advice beforehand and I was given courteous attention when I took it in to be upgraded. The. More work was carried out exactly as I had asked in just two days. A very good experience and I am now enjoying my much quicker iMac. As per my previous post, the service from this shop is second to none. Rob is a very competent techie. However, he has encountered a rather bizarre problem with my system which he is determined to solve. As it is taking longer than usual, he is keeping in constant phone contact to update me with what is happening. He is a very professional and tenacious young lad, and I have no doubt he will get to the bottom of it.
I am happy to leave my laptop for as long as it takes, as I know he will exhaust every avenue to try and solve the issue for me. Always comes very highly recommended from us. Rob has had my laptop since last Thursday (30 July 2020) and has been working on it between other jobs. He finally managed to get the problem sorted, which is an absolute miracle as Microsoft Support themselves could not.
He then only wanted to charge me for one hour's work (I know that he had spent many more hours than one), and so I refused. We agreed on a compromise of three hour's work, which I felt that he more than deserved - I still feel that I was undercharged. Again, a very impressed customer, and would definitely recommend going to IFixTech to get any computer problems sorted.
If they do not charge adequately, do the honourable thing and insist on paying more. You need to pay for quality and the service from young Rob is second to none. Would very highly recommend.

My 8 year old PC expired. Took it in - iFixTech investigated and found it beyond economical repair. I bought a new PC (from Currys) and took it in. iFT recovered all the data from the old hard drive and also set up the new machine for me (including migrating my email from POP3 to IMap so I can now access my email on my phone). All this done in just 3 days from first going in. Excellent service.

Ignorant man with no customer service abilities at all. I was so shocked that someone could be so rude to a possible customer who won't ever be a future customer and will be telling anyone not to bother with this company/shop if they want a good service. I went into the shop this morning hoping to get some help regarding a Mac book 2013, the track is cracked and I needed it scanned.
I had barely got the Mac book out of the bag and didn't even finish telling the man what was the problem when he said in a sharp voice "it's too old" I said pardon and he repeated that it was too old. I said thank you for the help and left to the sound of him laughing at me. Not a nice experience and would advise anyone that wants a bit of polite customer service to use someone else.
