We used Adept PC repair when my switch broke down last year, and Ian found that the internal battery had somehow disconnected, so he reconnected for no charge. My PS 4 Pro suddenly died on me and I was freaking out. I tried to find a place to repair it found Ian through google. He is one of the most genuine and nicest guys i have ever met. And he is super skilled it didn't take him more than a minute to diagnose the problem. He fixed it and gave a full clean up and a 24 hr testing and now it is good as new.

My sons Nintendo switch required some work, joy con not responding and the card reader not recognising a game card, contacted adept and arranged a repair following receiving a quote. It was repaired same day and Ian kept me informed about the problems reported and cost involved throughout. Thoroughly recommended, great value professional service and even better it's local!

Can't reccomend enough. Great, fast service. Above all, I can't fault Ian's honesty. He was able to address a problem with my console relatively easily without replacing any parts and returned the unit in working condition at no charge (If he had charged his prices are more than reasonable). I won't hesitate to return if any of my other electronics require repair.

Amazing Service. Couldn't figure out why my computer wasn't launching; I'd tried multiple things and none of them had worked. Ian took my computer and identified the problem within about an hour and had it fixed by the end of the day. Computer has been running perfectly ever since!

I must admit I was a little nervous using a company I had stumbled across on the internet but wow what a fantastic find! My sons PS4 was over heating and sounded like a jet engine. I contacted Adept and Ian replied instantly with a quote and even offered a collection and return Serivce. I decided to go ahead and I’m so glad I did. Ian was extremely helpful, he collected from my house, repaired it and returned it all in the same day.

My PS4 hdmi port was broken, i rang up Ian, I was told that I could drop it down within the hour and that it should be fixed within the 24 hrs. Within a hour I had a call saying that it was all fixed, for a fair price. Can’t thank him enough.

I took my ps4 pro to Ian as it was overheating and sounded like a jet engine. I'm not sure how he did it but its now completely silent and I can play my games at a volume that isn't shaking the walls to drown out the fan! Fantastic service and very competitively priced, it took just 22 hours to replace the HDMI port on my PS4 and I was able to drop off and collect whenever it suited me. It's often hard to trust a new company with your expensive devices however I will definitely be trusting Adept PC with any devices I need repairing going forward.

Wow. Spoke to Ian on Tuesday, He ordered my replacement Ipad air screen straight away. Dropped it off at 8. 30 this morning(Thursday) and picked it up at 11 am. Fantastic job fantastic service Fantastic price. Thanks Ian.

Needed my iPad mini screen repairing as it had been broke for a while, my friend recommended Adept PC Repairs and I will definitely be going again. Ian was extremely approachable and explained what would be done and how long it would take, as well as replying to emails promptly he was willing to work around me with timings for dropping off/picking up. Arranged for a free pickup of my laptop as the hinge had broken and I initially thought that the LCD wiring had been damaged also, getting a white screen. However Ian took a look and found that the wiring had simply come off. The hinge itself needed fixing which required a replacement of the laptop's lower casing. He used genuine parts too. Some other things he helped sort out was the removal of dust and repasting of the components inside and fixed the cap on the hinge and glued the cover to my disc drive back on as well.

All for a very low cost of £100 including labour, which was definitely worth it.After being very pleased with his work and service, I handed over my brother's old Dell laptop which was previously diagnosed about 3-4 years ago that it needed a new motherboard and had been left unused since, it simply would not turn on. Ian told me that the charger for the laptop had to be genuine and it doesn't play well with knock-offs from eBay and such.

The charger he provided was again genuine and he also found the laptop's keyboard to be partially working, which he also replaced for me. And finally he cleaned the internals and repasted all the chips inside. It was quite a shock to see the laptop alive once more, my brother was absolutely thrilled.If I ever need someone to repair my computers and laptops, I would not hesitate to contact Adept PC Repair again. Professional, honest and great value for money, and it was very, very nice to be able to talk and discuss things with someone who pretty much knew everything! Thank you very much!

I had an Xbox 360 repaired. Very prompt and informative replies to all queries, excellent friendly service, very fast turnaround between them receiving the job and delivering the repaired console, whilst keeping in touch to keep me informed of the progress. They even collected from my home and delivered back at no extra charge. Highly recommended, and in the unfortunate event that I have any PC or console troubles in future I shall not hesitate to contact Adept, as they were thoroughly professional, efficient and I felt comfortable using their services.
