We are trained and authorised to carry out repairs on all Apple iPhones, including carrying out screen and battery repairs at our own workshop in Lancaster. We are conveniently located in the city of Lancaster with pay and display parking adjacent to our building, it is very easy to drop your Apple equipment off with us for repair.
At Ubertechs we pride ourselves in the Apple support service we offer. We have Apple qualified technicians and an Apple approved workshop at our offices in Bulk Street, Lancaster. We have invested in specialist tools and software to ensure a quality repair on your Apple device. In November of 2010 Ubertechs Ltd became the only Apple Authorised Service Provider in North Lancashire and Cumbria areas.

I booked an appointment through the Apple Support app. They said they had no record of it and were at full capacity. I asked when they would have capacity & they said they didn't know. Very unhelpful, despite showing them confirmation of my appointment. Wish I hadn't waited so long for the appointment & just phoned Apple directly. It just seemed like Ubertechs didn't want to help :

Critical: Professionalism, Value Drove 2 hours for a booked battery replacement only to be told that they don't honour apples quoted price of 49 and need to charge 79, and also they have no batteries in stock, a bit like booking your car in for a oil change to be told that they have no oil when you arrive. Not a professional service.

Took my MacBook Pro into this Apple Authorised Repair shop in Lancaster. No appointments to be had at any other Apple place but this one. Turned up and was dealt with in a covid safe environment. Thought I would not get my laptop sorted before Christmas but within 3 days they emailed me back to say it was ready! Super service, professional and explained everything clearly instead of in Apple Jargon! All genuine Apple parts used too! Will definitely use them again. Merry Christmas Guys!

Poor service It started OK with a fairly quick diagnostic and an email to outline the problem and the cost to repair. This was unfortunately more than the laptop was really worth so I decided not to get it fixed. I did however ask if they could transfer the files across to an external hard drive. I was simply told to bring one along and this could be quickly sorted.
Upon my arrival I was told that the hard drive I brought was not configured correctly (information which should have been explained before my 45minute journey over, to avoid this situation) leaving me with no choice but to buy a new one from town which was an unforseen additional cost. When I returned they began the transfer process. I was told it would be 15 minutes.
I returned after 15 mins and it was not complete. At this point I was told it would be a little longer so I went away again. After a couple more visits and over 2 hours later it was finally finished. Having wasted half my day waiting in a car park, I had to argue the case to get a small reduction on the price of this service which was due to be 42!
I know we are in unprecedented times but this customer service could be drastically improved. The 2 stars are for their apparent knowledge initially and them finally honoring a price reduction. This is me being kind. Not happy.

Yes you have to stand outside if it's raining and wait, as with COVID secure premises they only allow one in at a time, but better alive than ill! Asked to wash you hands upon entry and speak from behind a screen so wonderfully safe in todays climate. But most important thing is they fixed my MacBook pro, under warranty, in the 5 working days they stated and kept me informed along the way. Can't ask for more than that. Many thanks

My son recently booked an appointment for Uber to look and hopefully fix his Macbook, we took time off work to drive him to lancaster 45mins each way. Get there to be told 'we are not doing anything now we are finishing off for xmas, nothing we can do before xmas'. This is not the same service, experience that we are used to or expect from an Apple approved co.
Maybe a message stating this would have been nice before our long drive and time off - or just dont give appointments out if no proper slots available. Next time we shall use a proper Apple Store who we have found to be exceptional previously.

Drove to the shop. By appointment. Over an hour each way Reception asked the technicians about my iPad problem. No technician spoke to me directly. They were too busy I was told that my iPad was not worth repairing which may be true. It will not charge from mains and shuts down abruptly and even when charged, I can only restart it by plugging it into iCloud on my desk top computer.
I wanted an explanation of why this is. I also showed them my husband's iPad which has been targeted by a scam which alerts him hourly to download extra software. I expected them to know how to shut this down but they said not possible. End result of 2 1/2 hour drive was that I ordered a new iPad Questions not answered. 1 star because receptionist was very pleasant!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE SERVICE! Taken in with a backlight issue which was due to a common design fault with my model of laptop, and not only did I receive this under an extended warranty, they also identified further issues and replaced the screen, battery, trackpad and keypad FREE OF CHARGE under another care program! I'm absolutely over the moon, it's like a brand new machine! I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Absolutely Incredible! I had an issue with my iPhone which I couldn't resolve myself, I simply walked into Ubertechs with my phone and within 5 minutes it was booked in, the lady behind the desk was absolutely incredible and the whole process was a breeze. Since I was taking it in there under the Apple warranty I was expecting to wait atleast a week before getting an answer/diagnostic report as in the past I have only been to large Apple Stores.
I was told to check my emails for updates, I was certainly kept up to date with everything and in less than 24 hours I had an update to let me know my brand new replacement iPhone was ready for collection- now that is outstanding! My phone is vital for my work and I was worried I would be without it for a number of weeks, the Ubertechs team were faultless and so speedy! Thankyou so much!

Replaced logic board in a october 2017 air under EU Law as 23 months old so out of 1 yr warranty Apple UK give, Apple kept quiet about logic board faults on these models, the guys at Ubertech are fantastic, friendly and very helpful, this place is more than outstanding, more than can be said for a member of staff at Trafford centre Apple store who was very rude after i turned up with it having spoken to App support and they advising me to do that.

My iMac went into permanent total ‘dark mode’. In to Ubertechs for repair. Logic board replaced, but this revealed a further problem with the drive. However this was also fixed within a couple of days and data from the drive was rescued, the system re-installed and updated, and the data replaced. Back home all is working fine again.

Spilled tea over my Macbook Air keyboard two days before I was due to go back to uni with my finals fast approaching. Ubertechs sorted it out in time for me to pick it up again on my way down. 5* service and I'm eternally grateful to them for sorting it out so quickly! It nows works perfectly with a new trackpad, and even got a clean whilst it was there (it was embarrassingly grubby).

Professional and speedy repair! My Mac had broken down during my exam period, so I was quite desperate to have it fixed as soon as possible. Although they quoted a pick-up date of 2-3 days from the drop-off date, I was delighted to know it was repaired the next day. Communication was superb; I was updated on new problems they had found and replies were quick and informative. Would definitely recommend Ubertechs if you are experiencing problems with your Apple device!

I recently took my dead Mac book air into Ubertechs Ltd. They emailed me the next day to tell me the source of the problem, the logic board, and to give me a quote to repair. I decided to go ahead with repair and it was completed and ready to pick up 2 days later! They had also cleaned the internals, fan and casings. They had great communication throughout and the level of service was outstanding.

My ipad needed a replacement battery. Ubertechs sorted me out with a reconditioned ipad within 24 hours. But they were not too specific about how backing up my old ipad and restoring the data into the new ipad actually worked. I pretty much had to do my own research and cross my fingers
I was shocked when restoring the new ipad to see the message that my backup file was 'possibly corrupted'!
Then I discovered that whereas my backup had been made with the latest ios (10.3.3), the replacement ipad contained ios 10.3.2. I updated its software to 10.3.3 and, hey presto, bob's your uncle: my new ipad restored correctly! I shouldn't have had to go through that experience. Still, it was the only criticism I could make of Ubertechs. Great shop, good location, friendly service and quick!

I really appreciated Ubertechs' customer service. I took my phone in to have the battery replaced and screen repaired, and they were friendly throughout the whole process. They've got great communication, and you can check the status of your device online, which was helpful. Definitely go here if you need help with an Apple product!

Somewhat dismayed when my Apple Mac screen hinge failed, and envisaged a costly repair with sending away, postage costs etc etc...However, an enquiry on the Apple site pointed me towards my nearest repair agent in Lancaster, 20 minutes away. And what an excellent experience. Truly professional team, computer left for just 5 days, totally overhauled, new hinge fitted, tested and working like new. Personal approach first class, and made better by the service being at no cost through Apple. Thanks Ubertechs, top job.
