Hi I am Hayden Williams, the sole trader, who operates as Tarragon Computer Services.
I have been in the computer business now for 15 years as a computer engineer, tutor and soletrader.
I have dealt with, stock market companies, transport companies, accountants, children's charities, cat charities, engineering companies, shops, private individuals, stock market /futures traders, landlords, company directors, fencing companies, insurance companies etc..
I always come out to the customer's site / home to see the situation first hand.
There are very good reasons for this, frequently the situation to be addressed is either email, network or internet based. Now if the issue is with the connection, or the ISP then this cannot be resolved by taking the system offsite.
Another reason is that sometimes the issue is environmental such as insufficient ventilation or plug not inserted correctly, again this would not necessarily be apparent offsite.
Lots of computer service companies offer remote repairs, which are very restricted in lots of circumstances, for them to do this they either need to make a computer to computer connection directly via the internet (and whilst there is supposedly little security risk doing this, it makes a lot of people concerned at the ease with which it can be done) or via a telephone, which requires total understanding between the computer support personnel and the customer (this is not always achieved).
This last item can be extremely frustrating for the customer (and sometimes me as the support people are frequently from a different country and difficult to understand sometimes, despite my experience and know how)
Tarragon Computer Services operates in the South Essex Area. I am available 7 days a week by appointment or callout.
I work from 8:00 to 20:00 (8:00pm) onsite or later if the customer requires it (currently with no extra premium for doing so)
If customers require a quick solution that can be resolved by email then that can be arranged.
