Went in for a quote on a ram upgrade on my gaming laptop. Dad took it in as I had work commitments, as it turns out, they've snapped the back when taking it off for the check on current ram. 'These things happen' was the response. Obviously won't be back for the upgrade. And also would probably go to someone with more experience next time. EDIT: No, I'm reviewing your lack of knowledge and understanding of these sorts of items.
Also reviewing your service and the fact you knew this happened, and said nothing. We did tell you about the damage, was told these things happen. Why would we go ahead with it once you damaged it, and just acted like nothing had happened. Should of acknowledged it first, then maybe you would of deserved our money. No wonder there's a fair few scathing reviews for this place

Here's A Unique Perspective For People Reading These, My Name's CJ. Although Long Term Customers Will Remember Me As 'The Young One With Slighty Mad Hair' aka Christian. Imagine Dealing With Nothing But Broken Computers Lol.

Finaly Please Realise That Some People You Just Can't Please, But They Have A Customer Base That's Been Going There For Years Despite Local Competitors And Have Now Been Around For Decades.

My daughter tower has been in shop for repair this is the forth time she has paid them over 200 last time it went in they said it was the 2tb so they took it out and threw it away but no person from shop phoned her up 2tell her the problem my daughter said their was nothing wrong with it so just been round to the shop did not get any where so if any one thing of going their plz don't

I have nothing but praise for these guys! I broke the screen on my pixel phone and took it in, only to find the screens are very expensive to replace! They were very patient with me while I sorted insurance to pay for it, and once I had it sorted and the part was ordered it was fixed quickly. I found some issues with the phone after the repair, called them up a few days before the second lockdown, explaining that I need my phone for work, and I was asked to take back in.
The same day I took back in, one of the guys was working on it and calling me to keep me updated very regularly. The new screen was causing the issues, which were only very minor, and they were wanting to order another screen for me and try again. After they had already done so much for me, I decided I would just settle for the issues and collect my phone later that day.
I then got a phone call a while later saying they weren't happy just giving me back the old phone and offered me a new one! I am so pleased with the service and treatment I've had, and they've been an awesome company to deal with. Thank you so much for helping me out, especially considering its during a pandemic!

After I needed to install a graphics card into my sister's computer, I called up everywhere with no luck. One of the businesses recommended to me Micro-Check Computers as they were apparently one of the few people who would work with a graphics card. I was pleasantly surprised! Staff were friendly, knew exactly what I was talking about when I referred to the problem, they were quick to install it, and were very honest with me about every aspect. The graphics card was installed perfectly, and I will certainly be coming back! It was definitely worth the long drive to go there haha!

went to micro-check this morning as my laptop had unfortunately stopped working. The gentleman that served me was very helpful. I didn't feel rushed telling him what the problem was that I encountered with my device. He worked on my laptop in front of me so I could see what he was doing. I'm a very happy bunny my laptop is now working. I can't recommend the staff at micro-check highly enough. If you have any problems with your devices please as micro-check first.
