Really great value service and communication. Picked up my laptop promptly, kept me across what was going on and what would need to be done. Ordered a new hard drive, replaced it and managed to save all my files across a few days. Explained things without jargon and gave me really useful tips. Would definitely recommend if youre in south manchester and I'll be calling on Harvey again if needs be.

Had my gaming PC in for repair which was all fixed quickly. I also got Harvey to have a look over and run some diagnostics to see what I could get to improve the overall speed/efficiency of the system. I can't praise Fix Computers highly enough. Took a VERY slow laptop in, with more than just basic malware/virus issues. My laptop is now so fast, it's genuinely considerably faster than it was new, thanks to new SSD hard drive. Everything is instant! To top it all off Harvey was great. He took the time to explain everything in detailed and more importantly a more simplified way for me to understand, he couldn't have be more helpful and patient. My computer wasn't booting anymore and was very slow. Was offered a more than reasonable quote and the computer was fixed within 24h. and still moving like a rocket now. Excellent service.

Excellent turnover time. Laptop has been slow for months and begging for help. Finally it crashed and spat me out with a blurry nonresponsive login screen. Harvey managed to get in, assess all the issues and fix the corrupt windows. Whilst we're at it He replaced to an SSD hardrive. It's now as good as new and ready for another 2 years of good use. Much more affordable than having to buy a new laptop. I'd say affordable professional service with honest updates.

I had my HP Omen gaming laptop serviced, thermal repasting and fans cleaned. My laptop has not sounded this quiet since the first day of purchase. The overheating initially contributed to my laptop's sluggish performance, but with the servicing, it doesn't lag anymore. I really recommend Harvey for the quality of work. He certainly knows his way around laptops and computers!

I contacted Fix Computers after my PC was water damaged. A speedy diagnosis was made and parts were recommended to order as replacements. The PC was then reassembled with the new parts within 24 hours (Motherboard, Ram, Processor). I was walked through all the changes made and sent off with my PC. Now up and running at home perfectly. Really great service and value! Will be my go-to for future PC problems.

Took my laptop to be looked at as it was taking 10mins to load up, and then another 10 before I could properly use it. He knew instantly what was wrong and told me the different options to fix it. He installed a new hard drive and now it’s 15secs from turning on the computer to being logged on and able to use. Really impressed!

Brilliant service, I recently broke my laptop screen and, after looking for a replacement screen and not being able to get one for a couple of days, I contacted Fix Computers to ask for a quote and a timescale. Only a few quid more to have it fitted than it would have cost me to do it myself plus next day service as well. Very friendly service, pointed out some stuff I'd missed myself (and should have realised), superfast and the repair came in cheaper than quoted. Would definitely recommend

I had 2 laptops with 2 problems. 1st one needed a new screen-24 hr turnaround simple and easy- my wife is now happy! My other laptop was driving me mad with how slow it became. It is a fairly old laptop but with a good spec etc, so asked Harvey for some advise. The thing I like about Harvey is he tells the truth and doesn’t try and con you with tech talk etc!

I am fairly tech savvy and from past experience (from OTHER people not Harvey) I was expecting to be told I need to change all sorts of stuff and it ending up costing me a fortune on a old laptop and ripping me off! Not Harvey, explained what the problem was in simple terms and advised what would be best! All he did was install a new SSD hard drive and cleaned it up, reinstalled Win10, added antivirus and ms office software for a very reasonable price, and now the laptop is running like never before and is a dream! Harvey fixed our laptop overnight which I found impressive. The laptop was going into some demented loop and couldn't reach the desktop. Harvey managed to retrieve the files, did a factory reset and installed useful free software to ensure its smooth running in future. Would recommend.

Harvey is a superstar! He has, many times, saved my sanity! He has been available on the same day that I have called, and has fixed my desktop/laptop. I have used this service for a few years now, and I won't take my custom elsewhere. Competitively priced and a perfectionist. He offers ongoing support over the phone when I have any difficulties. I'm writing this review from a laptop that I thought I might never use again. We tried the place I originally bought the laptop and they were unbelievably rude and unhelpful (not what you expect from a big chain). Harvey was an absolute life saver, unbelievably understanding and charged half what we were told we would pay by the big stores. The laptop was fixed within 20 minutes on a Sunday evening, saving me a week of waiting anxiously for an appointment where I originally bought it. Cannot recommend enough - great advice for future computer purchases too! A friendly, quality service!

Excellent service, thanks. Very reasonable price and I would thoroughly recommend Harvey to other users. I used Harvey 5+ years ago when my laptop had a virus and he managed to sort things out quickly and successfully so, just recently, when I spilt a large mug of red hot tea all over my current laptop I quickly got on the phone to him once again.

He was very calm and reassuring over the phone and made some good suggestions that I had not thought of in my panic. Whilst he is happy to collect items, I wanted to get the laptop to him without delay, so I drove around to his home and dropped it off. He clearly explained to me the potential problems and provided me with a very reasonably priced quote which I readily accepted.

He noted that the charge would be about 50% of the repair price if the laptop could not be repaired, which I also think is reasonable as you obviously have to pay for his time and expertise. He also gave me an indication of the cost of any parts likely to have been damaged, but advised that he would give me an update before any decisions are made. Thankfully, within 48 hours, Harvey had rescued the laptop and completed the repair.

No parts were needed, not even a new keyboard, and the laptop is now working as it was previously, without the drama of me having to recover lost data and/or having to fork out to replace a damaged machine. Overall, I am very relieved, but also very grateful to Harvey for helping me out and getting me back up and running. Many thanks once again!

Great service and quick turn around. Was having problems with my PC randomly restarting. Harvey diagnosed it and fixed it within a few days which is great as he had to purchase a new power supply for it!

Accidentaly spilled a full glass of water on my laptop and the keyboard wasn't working anymore. I thought I had to buy a new laptop or at least spend a lot of money on finding and installing a new keyboard.
Harvey somehow managed to get everything back to how it was, no new parts required. Great service, not expensive, quick and with good communication.
