When my MacBookPro battery warning popped up, I hoped there'd be local expertise available to check it out and replace the battery. William at Aardvark was just what you need when you can't do the job yourself - knowledgable and professional and someone who instils confidence. He kept me informed about what the job entailed, how long it was likely to take, and the cost. I'll be using him again, and can certainly recommend talking to Aardvark for computer repairs.

Absolutely stunning customer service! Needed a new graphics card installing as I'm not tech savvy enough to do it myself. William gave me brilliant advice about a new PSU as the one already in my pc wasn't powerful enough to run the new card. I dropped everything off with no trouble also very helpful helping me with doors and carrying extra boxes. Everything was installed checked and returned to me within a few hours. My wife and I bought a new computer from Currys and William transferred all the information from the old computer to the new one and wiped the old computer as well. His manner and demeanour in every respect is admirable, not to mention his swift service and quality of his work. Top class service. Only uses genuine parts and has repaired numerous iPhone and laptops for us at reasonable prices. You can get cheaper but for me you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

MacBook Pro suddenly stopped charging and wasn't sure if charger or the MacBook itself. William got me in the next day tested and confirmed it was the charger so I was safe to go ahead and buy a replacement, even face good advice about not buying cheap 3rd party chargers. William was so nice and helpful on the phone and there was no charge as he hadn't had to repair anything. So rare to find someone so pleasant and knowledgeable and that can work on Mac's. I won't hesitate to use him for my computer repairs in the future

Absolutely brilliant service from William! I took my work Macbook to him after having called Apple numerous times and not fixing the issue. I called William after being stressed and tired from trying to fix the issue and getting nowhere, he told me to drop it off the same day and a few days later he called me back with the issue and saying he could fix it! Issue has been fixed and Macbook is up and running like new! Wouldn't hesitate to use William again and highly recommend him to everyone!

Just when I thought I would have to buy a new laptop I found Aardvark. Will was a lovely gentleman and had my laptop fixed in no time. No hassle and a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

My old motherboard started playing up a while ago so I decided to get a new one, which meant a new CPU and RAM too. As the job of installing it all was beyond me, I decided to turn to the pros, and seeing that Aardvark Computer Repair had so many good reviews, I got in touch with William, who was incredibly friendly and helpful and really knew his stuff.

Long story short, dropped the PC off with him on Friday morning, got it back Friday evening and now it's running wonderfully. William also advised me on several software issues I wasn't aware of and gave the PC a good old dust to help it run cooler. All in all, top class service at a very affordable price and I'll definitely be going back if I have any further issues!

My laptop had frozen-I couldn`t even close it down. William couldnt have been more helpful. I took my computer to him, and, bearing in mind this was Saturday, on Monday morning he phoned to say it was fixed, and would I like him to try and figure out why it had frozen, with a view to avoiding it happening again? Obviously I said Yes, and because of him offering to do this, and the helpful advice he gave when I picked the computer up the next day, I have given him a 5* score.

I cannot praise him highly enough for his professional attitude, and will definitely use him again, and would recommend him to anyone. Also, his prices are very reasonable. Don`t go to anyone but William.

Unable to open Outlook and William not only fixed the problem but cleaned up my PC which is now running so fast and smoothly in all respects. I will now get him to service it regularly I think - really good value. Good, clear communication and explanation and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Found Aardvark Computer Repair when I lost the cursor on my Windows laptop. William fixed it, charged a very reasonable price for doing so and even refused more money for servicing the laptop (on the basis that it didn’t need it). I will certainly use Aardvark again for any computer problems. Highly recommended.

Second time I have needed to use this company and, as on the first visit, am really pleased with the outcome. Issues on this occasion were with Microsoft Office and e-mail set-up. William sorted within a couple of days and also as I definitely fall within the 'dumb blonde' category when it comes to technology he explained fully in plain English what the issue was. He always rings and advises what the problem and associated costs are prior to commencing the work. Would certainly recommend.

Laptop renewal. William upgraded my HP Laptop from Vista to Windows 7. He was quick, very reasonably priced and very pleasant to deal with. He also tried to upgrade my Acer touchscreen but it wasn't compatible with Windows 10, and although he spent quite a lot of time on it he refused payment because he could not do it. I would recommend him to all my family and friends.Great job thank you William.

Two or three months ago, I took my old (2011) MacBook (OS 10. 6. 8 - Snow Leopard - with 2GB Memory) to William to ask if he could upgrade it, mainly because I was concerned that this old system could not support the latest browsers which offer maximum security for online banking and buying over the internet. Happily, within a few days, William was able to install Apple’s bang up-to-date OS, Sierra 10.12.4, and to increase the Memory to 8GB. Now, I hope the MacBook might last another 4 years, by which time it will be 10 years old.

Perhaps then will be the time for a new machine. The MacBook runs a bit slower than before; the battery has to be charged more frequently; and sometimes there is strange behaviour in the Mail programme. For instance, when a large number of my emails disappeared, William recovered them. But these things do not seriously impede my use of the laptop and William, with his unfailing courtesy, has saved me the neck end of £1000. Incidentally, neither Apple, who described my laptop as “vintage”, nor their Authorised Service Providers, Stormfront, would have anything to do with my laptop. All the more credit to William, in my view.

I asked William to repair my laptop which was overheating, I dropped it off yesterday and got it back today and he only charged me £30 for an overhaul. My laptop is like new, he cleaned it inside and out. Its quieter and cooler. I can totally recommend him and will definitely use his services again. Many thanks.

Great friendly service and competitive pricing. William explained in layman terms exactly what was wrong. He quickly resolved a "glitch" in my PC which was stopping W10 from down-loading and also repaired a laptop which I was told from another source would be too expensive to repair. William vastly improved the performance of our PC which is used for work purposes. He also carried out some work on a laptop and netbook, all of which now work extremely well. William has done a few jobs for me now, including virus removal, computer servicing, ipad screen replacement and a replacement hard drive. He is always very efficient and never carries out work without discussing it with me first. My Samsung laptop had stopped working, and William diagnosed the problem as being the hard-drive, which was replaced and all my data put back, laptop is now running the best it has ever, all completed within a few days, Great Service, Quality and Value for money.

Initially was unsure about using Aardvark due to the complete unknown of never before hearing about the company or their services. After visiting their website and contacting William who advised me that I could have a free evaluation to find out what the problem with my laptop was; I made the visit to drop off my laptop. I was blown away by the professionalism, you wouldn't think that you were stepping in to someones home, I was treat with respect and mainly I was listened to.

After dropping off my laptop I received a call the next day from William advising what was wrong and how much it would cost with no detail spared, after agreeing to the cost it was only a matter of days before I received another call from William telling me that my laptop was as good as new and ready to be collected. Throughout my experience I was kept in the loop and everything was explained to me in great detail, I had a receipt and at no point was I worried about my laptop as I knew it was in capable hands.

Again blown away by the professionalism from someone working from home and I am thrilled with the service I received, already starting telling family and friends about Aardvark and William.
