Fast Computers / Pro Active IT Support
I had this company replace my broken HP laptop screen, costing a whopping £315 (touch screen). Upon delivery the new screen had a stuck pixel and my touch pen did not work. It turned out the screen fitted was the incorrect one and did not contatin a digitizer. I was told the one with the digitizer was essentially too expensive and/or not available and the stuck pixel was within the manufacturers specifications.
I was told 'my expectations were too high' when stating I have paid £315 and got a faulty screen with a stuck pixel and my pen no longer works. At every turn they tried to blame me for the problems. "You did not tell us you used a pen". "You did not give us your password so we could not test the screen". Shouldn't an IT company replace the part with the correct part using the part numbers?
Can they not turn the screen on and boot up the laptop and NOT login and still see the stuck pixel? Of course they could. I had to continually call this company to chase for resolution. They clearly had little intention of doing so. When I asked why took over 3 weeks and hadn't called me they said they were 'too busy'. Is that good customer service?
I was offered 10% refund as compensation, which I refused. Instead I leave a review letting others know how this company treats customers when things go wrong. May be great when everything works, but the true mark of a company is how they resolve things when it goes wrong. I would not recommend this company, I feel I was ripped off and they didn't care as they had my money. What they fitted is available as a part for £120-£150 on EBay. I have paid £315 and got a cheap faulty screen.

Great service from Peter and his team, I tasked them to repair the screen of a 10 year old laptop which the completed to a very high standard in a timely fashion. Peter keep me up to date all the way through the process. I am very pleased with the results and will most definitely be using them in the future. All round good service!

Stay away from this scammer. He did not pay my friend wages. Left him without money before Christmas. Lie to all customers trying to get out money from them. I just checked under public records on Companies House website. Fast computers was closed by HMRC because in 2017 and he still using this company to scam more people.this man was not paying any taxes ever.250K debt for HMRC!WTF? How he is not the the jail? You are real scumbag man and hope you will get what you deserved.

What people say about Fast computers or Proactive IT are absolutely true. Its not the company its just 1 person. Me and my colleagues has not been paid even we done work for him. He even didn't tell to us that we are not working from October.

Proactive have looked after my Dell Laptop via their free six month service/health check since I bought it from them three years ago... excellent service and knowledgeable staff and I would certainly have no hesitation in contacting them if any problems occur in the future or I need to purchase a new laptop.

Actually i visited Fast Computers to have a remote control for a rise and recliner chair repaired because i knew it needed some internal wiring and soldering work done. They were more than happy to have a look and straight up front that if they were unable to repair it they would let me know. Received a phone call the next day saying it was fixed, and the cost very friendly on the wallet. If they can repair an item such as that; if i have any computer problems in the future they definitely will have my business.

Received a surprise text from FAST that I had a free service and health check for my PC, dropped the PC in and received it back in great shape, whilst I knew I had no technical issues, the clean down of the system hardware was a bonus and has lowered my temp levels. I have used FAST for many years and am very happy with the level of knowledge and service received on every occasion, I have never been pressure sold or received poor advice. 5 STARS well worth a visit

Thank God for these guys. I work from home and my PC went down after an electrical storm despite having anti surge plugs. I am a below average user and needless to say do not back up files so my whole life and business records were in danger of being lost. The guys at Fast Computers made no promises but said they would salvage as much as possible for me.
Not only did they save 100% of the data but the PC too. They explained in laymans terms what had happened and what was needed to rectify not only that problem but also one or two others that they had detected whilst working on my unit. They did the work - charged less than I had hoped and a lot less than I had expected and within 3 days I had a PC that was back up and running BETTER than new. If you have a problem or need advice these guys have got to be at the top of your list. They are excellent.
